Where Angels Fear To Tread is one of those recordings that might not grab you at first. The singer is a little different from the usual high pitched screamer of the 80's and takes a bit of getting used to. The rhythm guitar in this hidden classic is tight and up in the mix. They spent the time to record the guitars with the care that was reserved for drums on most other 80s recordings. The songs are catchy and the lead/solo guitar parts complement the songs. If you can find this one give it a listen or two and you'll get hooked. It's worth it to hear "Lovechild" as a hard rock anthiem. And the ego driven "Scream My Name" is funny and catchy at the same time.
