Minelab Equinox 800
By: Daniel on 11 October 2022I recently purchased the Minelab Equinox 800 and couldn't be happier. I am new to treasure hunting/ gold prospecting, so I wanted a decent dual purpose machine that was easy to use. This baby fits the bill, sure you need to outlay a bit of cash up front but it is worth it for a dual purpose machine. I believe there is a separate for sale smaller coil that would be perfect for gold detecting and a larger coil for better treasure hunting but you get everything you need to start out of the box. There are a lot of advanced functions with this machine so you can grow and learn, but it is still very simple to get going straight away.
