The Jimmy Carter celebrity doll depicts him as the 39th President of the United States.  The doll was manufactured by Toy Presidents in 2003 as part of their Commemorative Edition. President Carter is the only U.S. President to have received a Nobel Peace Prize (2002 for his humanitarian efforts) after leaving office.

The clothing is exceptional on this Toy Presidents doll with hand tailoring details that are true to the time period.  Extras like tiny buttons and snaps sewn on, removable clothes, elastic stirrups keep pants down and shirt tucked in make it both a collectors doll and a doll to be played with.  The doll wears a Presidential navy suit, replica Jimmy Carter striped tie tied in a Windsor knot, starched blue dress shirt, gold colored cuff-links, black shoes and socks, and even peanut patterned boxer shorts underneath it all. It also contains an official Toypresidents biographical pamphlet on President Carter and a black adjustable doll stand in the box insert.

The doll is fully articulated at the major joints including wrists and ankles and very easy to pose.
