The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were one of the biggest phenomenons of the late 80s/early 90s, with a comic series, animated series and numerous films to go along with the smash-hit toy line. The premise is simple, four baby turtles come into contact with some special ooze that mutates them into giant ninja-fighting turtles, all of whom are raised and trained by Master Splinter, a humanoid rat. Ok maybe it’s not as simple as we thought, nonetheless, they’re totally radical!
Funko’s latest addition to their TMNT Pop! series features Metalhead, the evil robotic turtle created by Krang to destroy the turtles once and for all. He was imbued with the thoughts and memories of the turtles, resulting in a pretty kick-arse villain. Although fortunately Donatello is eventually able to reprogram Metalhead for good, and he lives his life as the housecleaner of the turtles.
